I have always been curious about various fields of creation. Starting with a degree in architecture, I took off on an experimental journey exploring the mergence between the physical and digital worlds. I pursued my masters studies at the Bauhaus University Weimar, adopting a radical approach of reimagining the material world to reflect the unity of all the arts. I believe in the beauty of interdisciplinary creations and shared experiences, and through inspiring collaborations and showcases at major art exhibitions and festivals, locally and internationally, including Genius Loci Weimar, Amman Design Week 2017, Berlin Design Week 2018, and the world exhibition Expo2020 Dubai, I have developed new forms of perception and spatial storytelling. I thrive to facilitate this interaction, weaving hybrid collaborations between architecture, digital arts, performance, and sound, to explore the endless possibilities of this journey leading to sometimes unexpected results that challenge us to reimagine.
لطالما كنتُ أشعر بالفضول بشأن مختلف مجالات الإبداع. بدأتُ بشهادة في الهندسة المعماريَّة، وانطلقتُ في رحلةٍ تجريبيَّة لاستكشاف الاندماج بين الواقع والعالم الرقميّ، وأتممتُ دراستي في الماجستير في جامعة باوهاوس فايمار. نهجٌ جذريٌّ لإعادة تصوُّر الواقع كي يعكسَ وَحدة جميع الفنون. أنا أومنُ بجمال الإبداعات متعدِّدة التخصُّصات والخبرات المشتركة. وبالتعاون الملهِم والعروض في المعارض الفنِّيَّة والمهرجانات الكبرى، محلِّيًّا ودوليًّا، بما في ذلك ‘‘جينيوس لوكي فايمر’’، وأسبوع عمَّان للتصميم عام ٢٠١٧م، و أسبوع برلين للتصميم عام ٢٠١٨م، ومعرض ‘‘دبي إكسبو 2020’’. طوَّرتُ أشكالًا جديدةً من الإدراك ورواية القصص المكانيَّة. أنا أسعى لتَيسير هذا التفاعل، ونَسْج تعاونٍ مميَّز ما بين الهندسة المعماريَّة والفنون الرقميَّة والأداء والصوت، لاستكشاف الاحتمالات غير النهائيَّة لهذه الرحلة التي تؤدِّي إلى نتائجَ غير متوقَّعة أحيانًا، تتحدَّانا لنتصوَّرَ الأمورَ من جديد.

Hala Ghatasheh’s Conceptual Jewelry Design collection is the outcome of an experimental study exploring the possibilities of merging architecture, fashion, and technology.The setting used is that of the female body as a landscape, and studying its natural form and curvatures to generate architectural sculptures that emerge from and merge into it. This created unconventional statement pieces that highlight and complement its natural beauty in all shapes, while standing out with their unique forms and complex geometries.
