I never, at all, imagined I’d be who I am today. I moved to Jordan in 2012 to study graphic design. My first few months at university involved a lot of trial and error, inspiration hunting, and more trial and error, and then I found my love for illustration and the ability to express myself through it. It became a way for me to express an idea, emotions, and the endless inspiration around us with my own colors in whatever way I wanted to. My illustrations are often a juxtaposition of bright colors and a somber mood, or reality and fantasy. I then integrated my illustration style into my work as a designer so that it became my signature. I’ve become a true lover and appreciator of design. I love that I am able to help people express themselves through their brands. I work on various projects, ranging from branding and illustrations, to tableware and t-shirt design for both local and international brands. I hope to always be a reminder of how fun design can be.
لم أتصوَّر يومًا أنِّي سأكون ما أنا عليه اليوم. انتقلتُ إلى الأردنِّ في عام 2012م لدراسة التصميم الجرافيكيّ. تضمَّنَتِ الأشهرُ الأولى لي في الجامعة الكثيرَ من التجارب، والبحث عن الإلهام، والمزيد من التجارب، ثمَّ وجدتُ حبِّي للرسم التوضيحيِّ والقدرة على التعبير عن نفسي بواسطته. أصبحَتْ طريقةً لي للتعبير عن الأفكار والمشاعر والإلهام غير المتناهي من حولنا بألواني الخاصَّة، وبالطريقة التي أردتُها. في أغلب الأوقات، رسومي التوضيحيَّة هي مزيجٌ من الواقع والخيال أو تعبيرٌ عن الواقع السعيد أو حتَّى الحزين بالألوان الزاهية. ثمَّ أدخلتُ أسلوبي في الرسم التوضيحيِّ في عملي بصفتي مصمِّمة. أصبحتُ محِبَّةً حقيقيَّةً ومقدِّرةً للَّتصميم. أحبُّ كوني قادرةً على مساعدة الناس في التعبير عن أنفسهم بتصميم علاماتهم التجاريَّة. عملتُ على مشاريع عدَّة، بدءًا من تصميم العلامات التجاريَّة والرسوم التوضيحيَّة، إلى تصميم أدوات المائدة وتصميم القمصان لعلاماتٍ تجاريَّة محليَّة وعالميَّة.
