Coming from a supportive family for arts, I was always encouraged to follow my passion and dreams, to explore, make mistakes, and grow to who I want to become. After obtaining my degree in Interior Design, I realized I was more interested in pursuing my career as an art educator, while still having a dream of owning my business and becoming an entrepreneur. It started with my love to doodle, where my bedroom wall always had a colored touch to boost my mood with positive vibes and give me the joy of being surrounded by art! And with a desire to spread the same vibes and joy I was having, “”Scribble by Joud”” was born to fulfill my passion for art and colors, through transforming furniture, home accessories, and walls, into colorful art pieces that defy the normality of traditional furniture and spaces, spreading joy anywhere they are placed. I aim to take “”Scribble by Joud”” to higher levels, locally, regionally, and internationally, catering for different spaces and elements, and possibly spreading and filling the world with the most positive and colorful vibes!
كوني جئتُ من عائلة داعمة للفنون، تلقَّيتُ تشجيعًا دائمًا على السعي وراء شغفي وأحلامي، للاستكشاف، وارتكاب الأخطاء والتعلُّم منها، والعمل والمثابرة لإثبات نفسي في المجال الذي أحبُّه وأريده. بعد حصولي على شهادة البكالوريوس في التصميم الداخليّ، أدركتُ أنِّي مهتمَّةً أكثر بمتابعة مسيرتي المهنيَّة في مجال تعليم الفنون، بينما استمرَّ تفكيري يدورُ حول حلمي في امتلاك عملي الخاصّ، وأن أصبح رياديَّة أعمال. بدأ الأمر بواسطة حبِّي للرَّسم، ولا سيَّما على جدار غرفتي، حيث كنتُ أحرصُ على إضفاء لمسةٍ فنِّيَّة عليه لتعزيز مزاجي بالطاقة والمشاعر الإيجابيَّة المتمثِّلة بإحاطتي بالألوان والفنّ. ومع رغبتي في نَشْر المشاعر نفسها، والفرح الذي كنتُ أشعر به من الألوان والأعمال الفنِّيَّة، وُلدَت فكرةُ “Scribble by Joud” وذلك لإشباع شغفي بالألوان والفنون، والذي يهدف إلى تحويل قطع الأثاث والإكسسوارات والجدران إلى قطع فنِّيَّة ملوَّنة تتحدَّى النمط التقليديَّ والمعتاد، وتنشر الفرح في مساحة توضَعُ فيها. هدفي هو أن أنقلَ مشروعي إلى مستويات أعلى على الصعيد المحلِّيِّ والإقليميِّ والدوليِّ ليصبح مشروعًا متكاملًا بكلِّ تفاصيله، كي ينشرَ الفرحَ والطاقةَ الإيجابيَّة بكلِّ ألوانها، ويملأ العالم بهما.
Bringing the signature chair of “Scribble by Joud” with a modern twist for indoor or outdoor spaces. This piece was designed to combine the traditional Dumyati chair with a modern and colorful doodle, making it a statement piece to be placed in spaces. It was painted with premium paint and extreme attention to detail, taking up to 20 hours to be completed and finalized as not only an accent chair but also a piece of art that has no duplicate. The piece of art can be part of a neutral surrounding, or simply at an outdoor space along with a matching set.
